Contest Rules

Entries must be received by July 23, 2023

Only what can be viewed from the front will be judged

Judging will be in three classes

Large Garden: Frontage 50 ft or larger

Small Garden: Under 50 ft frontage

Townhouse garden: Any Size

By entering the contest, residents agree to allow judges onto their property. Most judging will be done from the street.

Names and addresses of the winning gardens may be published for award and promotional purposes.

What We Are Looking For

The judges will be evaluating each garden for:

Visual Appeal: Harmony of scale, colour and texture

Overall Design: A good use of space, balance

General Maintenance: Care in pruning, weeding and environmental practices

Originality: Creativity, uniqueness
